DVD: The Thirteenth Floor

“The Thirteenth Floor” has always a bit chilling since it released in 1999, and now in Blu-ray it’s a bit creepier. Craig Bierko (who is a good actor who often gets crappy roles), plays a guy who is a high-tech visionary. His high-strung sidekick is played by always over-the-top Vincent D’Onofrio. They’ve opened a time-travel world into 1937 Los Angeles, but as soon as they go tell their boss Armin Mueller-Stahl (of “Shine”) they find him slashed to death. Then, in pops Gretchen Mol from Paris claiming to be the murder victim’s daughter and things get really weird.
