There’s one stop that cannot be missed in the week leading up to the Emmy Awards – at least that’s true for many of television’s brightest stars. That’s the annual GBK Pre-Emmys Luxury Lounge, hosted by Gavin Keilly and featuring a cornucopia of luxury products and charity initiatives designed to pique interest from some of the world’s biggest influencers.

We spotted “Saturday Night Live” funny lady Leslie Jones checking out title sponsor Pilot Pen’s offerings, that included their Vanishing Point retractable fountain pen, a serious pen that combines old world (that unique fountain pen nib) with the new (retractable, like a ballpoint). It’s a very cool writing piece, but the G2 gel pens from Pilot remain the best-selling pen in the U.S.

Best Comedy Actor nominee Anthony Anderson (“Black-ish”) found those pens and much more, as he filled the signature GBK gigantic black duffel bag to the brim. He found Bullets 4 Peace jewelry, designed for men and women and made with repurposed bullets, in fascinating designs, as well as the bigger-ticket Crown of Light diamond jewels. Even more gorgeous were the Eva Gems & Jewels custom-made creations of ruby, emerald and other precious stones, which Eva showed off and lent selected celebs for red-carpet appearances.

When the stars got hungry, there was Cali’Flour Foods, baking up their delicious cauliflower flatbread pizzas – and they didn’t have too many calories, either. “The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” three-time Supporting Actor nominee Tituss Burgess seemed to love it, and he and the other celebs took home a year’s supply of the yummy crusts. It was easy to ramp up the celebration with the Ving Vodka cocktails and Chateau Boswell Wines on offer, too.

2017 nominee Mindy Sterling got pampered by Burke Williams spas with a relaxing chair massage and went home with gift certificates for treatments at one of the luxury spa’s SoCal locations. She also went home with a Blooming anti-aging, high-frequency facial massager, the new beauty product from Korean company BHMBG. That LED light therapy promises to lift and tighten skin – what TV star could say no to that?

Au Mieux gifted their organic skin serums, while the Siddhayatan Spiritual Retreat offered TV personalities like 2017 Emmy nominees Mo Collins and Kelsey Scott with three days of wellness bliss including yoga, meditation and more. There were even personal service specialists at the ready, as The Nartley Group offered up their luxury real estate services and Bodacious Concierge gave three hours of complimentary services, ranging from grocery shopping to home cleaning to event planning.

And of course, no GBK Luxury Lounge would be complete without some fashion items. Two favorites were Two Gypsy Souls and Mission Belts, each showing off innovative designs. Two Gypsy Souls takes vintage plaid flannel shirts and other vintage items (think denim jackets) and reworks them into rock and roll themed unisex fashion statements, with licensed images from The Beatles, The Dead, The Stones and many other music icons. The result is very cool! Meanwhile, Mission Belts has created a revolutionary belt that locks into place and stays put, while adjusting for whatever size waist a guy has. Nominee Michael Kelly (who is so great in “House of Cards”) happily slipped one on his trim waist with a grin – and even figured out the secret of getting it off, too.

There were sky-high Enrico Cuini heels as well, from famed shoe designer Dr. Taryn Rose, made with a patented technology that she guarantees to be as comfortable as flats. Her proprietary “Wings” AWT technology is the reason, designed by this orthopedic surgeon turned cobbler to help women like “Shameless” stars Shanola Hampton and Emma Kenney look fashionable without pain; they each took home a pair of the pricey heels. We’re not sure that Leslie Jones needs to add five inches to her six foot frame, but she still went home with a pair, too, ready for wearing during the coming fall awards season that the GBK Pre-Emmys Luxury Lounge helped kick off with a bang.
