Los Angeles Magazine hosted a festive party on December 7, 2015 in the lobby of their office building that celebrated the City of Los Angeles with partners, clients, neighbors and vendors. The fifth annual spirits tasting event featured several brands of whiskey, vodka, tequila as well as beer and wine. A large crowd of partiers enjoyed an evening of DJ music, loud banter and seasonal revelry.
Each spirits brand had a specialty bar that offered seasonal cocktails. Karma Tequila offered samples of all three of their expressions, including their newest, the aged Anejo. They also mixed a smooth Maserati Margarita made with their Silver tequila, lemon juice, agave nectar and DiSaronna. Don Julio tequila presented a tangy Manzanita Mule made with their Blanco tequila, apple juice, lemon juice and ginger syrup.
Deep Eddy vodka offered a few interesting cocktails. Their Cranberry Lemonade with Deep Eddy Cranberry and fresh lemonade was particularly refreshing. Ketel One vodka made a tasty Citroen Cosmo with their Citroen vodka, lime and cranberry juice.
Malibu Family wines poured their Saddlerock Sparkling Brut, Chardonnay and Semler Cabernet. Bite size food was passed by several servers and food stations were set up throughout the lobby area. There was a decadent dessert table laid out with an abundance of sweet selections prepared by Candee by Sandee.
The 2015 Los Angeles Magazine Big Holiday Party was enjoyed by everyone that attended. The fine spirits, wine and food selections kept all of the guests happy and contributed to the festive vibe of the event.
